Packers 2010 Training Camp opened August 22
Arnprior, ON (August 22, 2010) - The Arnprior Junior Packers opened their 2010 training camp at the Nick Smith Centre on Sunday, August 22, 2010. Here is the preliminary schedule for training camp and exhibition games:
- Sunday, Aug. 22 - 7:30-9 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre. Registration at 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 24 - 9-11 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre
- Thursday, Aug. 26 - 9-11 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre
- Sunday, Aug. 29 - 4 p.m. - Exhibition game in Petawawa at the SilverDart Arena vs. Shawville Pontiacs
- Monday, Aug 30 - Exhibition game in Stittsville vs. Royals (time TBA)
- Tuesday, Aug. 31 - 9-11 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre
- Thursday, Sept. 2 - 9-11 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre
- Friday, Sept. 3 - 8 p.m. - Exhibition game at the Nick Smith Centre vs. Stittsville Royals
- Tuesday, Sept. 7 - 9-11 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre
- Thursday, Sept. 9 - 9-11 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre
- Sunday, Sept. 12 - 4:30 p.m. - Exhibition game at the Nick Smith Centre vs. Shawville Pontiacs
Volunteers needed
The Arnprior Junior Packers are in need of volunteers to help with the upcoming 2010-2011 season. We need volunteers to fill the following rolls: front door staff, 50/50 sales, bar (smart serve required), security, timekeeper (to cover when regular timekeeper not available), scorekeeper (to cover when regular scorekeeper not available), music, general duties (setup pre-game, deliver drinks, etc. to dressing rooms and any general tasks that need to be done nightly).
